Jan. 05--Tickets for Intro, the Rich Melman "school for entrepreneurs" that will feature a different chef every three months, have gone on sale.
The inaugural menu, featuring chef C.J. Jacobson (winner of last season's "Top Chef Duels"), launches Feb. 4 in the former L2O space (2300 N. Lincoln Park West) and will be available Tuesdays-Saturdays through April 30.
Tickets are available at introchicagotickets.com, and use Nick Kokonas' Tock ticketing system, through which customers prepay for dinner, wine, tax and service charge. Tickets are non-refundable, albeit fully transferable.
Prices vary by day and time; in general, off-hour seatings cost between $65 and $75, and prime-time tables cost between $80 and $95. Prices are per person; wine pairings add another $30 or $50 to the total (there is a "no pairings" option), and 20-percent service charge and taxes are added to the total.
And what, precisely, will Jacobson's menu look like? Still waiting on that one.
