March 09--More than a dozen top Chicago chefs will join forces June 4 for the Chefs' Playground, a fundraising event for the Academy for Global Citizenship.
The ACG is a Chicago Public Charter School on the city's Southwest Side.
Chaired by chef Tony Mantuano and Fedele Bauccio, CEO for Bon Appetit Management Company, the event will feature such chefs as Rick Bayless, Thai Deng, John Hogan, Bill Kim, Giuseppe Tentori and Lee Wolen, creating nibbles for the walk-around event, which will take place at Terzo Piano (159 E. Monroe St., atop the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago).
Hours will be 7-10 p.m. for general admission; VIP tickets allow admission an hour early. Tickets are $250, $400 VIP, and are available here.
