March 06--A month after the high school season ends, Jalen Brunson and Charles Matthews will be teammates, at least for one game.
The Stevenson and St. Rita standouts will represent the East in the 2015 Jordan Brand Classic, an annual all-star game played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The game will take place Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN2.
Marian Catholic senior and Penn State recruit Teniya Page will take part in the first Jordan Brand Classic girls game at 3:30 p.m.
Marian Catholic lost to Homewood-Flossmoor in a Class 4A sectional final Feb. 26.
Brunson and Matthews will play for regional titles Friday. They would not meet in the 4A playoffs until the state final.
