BRIEF: There may be hope for a 'Happy Endings' revival, cast member says

Feb. 18--There may be hope for a revival of the Chicago-set sitcom "Happy Endings."

Cast member Casey Wilson told Entertainment Tonight that there's interest in a film based on the comedy, which aired from 2011-13 on ABC.

"Sometimes there's interest," Wilson told ET in a story posted online Wednesday. "Someone even called my husband (David Caspe), who created it, and basically said, 'I'm a private investor, I would love to pay for a movie.' We were like, 'OK.' ... Now I guess private citizens are coming off the streets to pay!"

Wilson, 35, added that no money has changed hands.

"Happy Endings," which follows a group of six Chicago friends, was canceled for low ratings amid scheduling changes. Caspe has said the show was based on his experience living in Wicker Park.

Hulu began streaming episodes of the show last month.
