BRIEF: The New Colony announces final show in 2016 season

Feb. 17--A world-premiere production of Spenser Davis' "Merge" will be the final production of The New Colony's 2016 season, the company announced Wednesday.

Co-artistic director Andrew Hobgood will direct the new comedy about Atari programmers who fight back against the corporatization of the '70s video game industry. Casting has yet to be announced.

"Merge" runs Oct. 7 -- Nov. 13 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave.

As previously announced, the season also includes Chelsea Marcantel's "Even Longer and Farther Away" (April 15 -- May 15, 2016) and William Glick's "Kin Folk" (July 8 -- Aug. 14, 2016).
