April 25--The Decemberists, Elle King, Kongos and Transviolet are among the acts slated to play the Taste of Chicago in July.
The indie band The Decemberists and singer-songwriter Shakey Graves are set for a July 8 concert hosted by WXRT-FM 93.1 at the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park, reps for the radio station announced Monday.
King, who sings "Ex's and Oh's," alternative rock band Kongos and pop quartet Transviolet are scheduled to play July 7 starting at 5 p.m.
Admission to the Taste of Chicago is free, but limited reserved concert seating is set to go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at tasteofchicago.us.
The Taste of Chicago is scheduled for July 6-10 in Grant Park. The food festival's full music lineup is expected to be released Tuesday.
