BRIEF: Teen fatally shot in Calumet City

April 08--A 17-year-old boy was shot to death in Calumet City early Monday, according to authorities.

Ramone Ogburn was pronounced dead about 1:30 a.m. Monday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

He was shot in the 500 block of Yates Avenue, but it's not clear when he was wounded. He lived in the 14500 block of Cottage Grove Avenue, according to the medical examiner.

The boy's death was ruled a homicide. He had multiple gunshot wounds, according to the medical examiner's office.

Calumet City police weren't available to comment Tuesday night.
