May 11--An 18-year-old man has died, a day after he and a 16-year-old boy were shot in the Gresham neighborhood in what Chicago police said was a domestic incident.
Marquel Sharp, of the 3600 block of West 15th Avenue in Gary, was shot Monday evening in the 7600 block of South Emerald Avenue, according to police.
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the same incident, which police characterized as domestic-related.
Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and Sharp was pronounced dead at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
Police were not releasing details about the circumstances of the shooting as of Wednesday morning.
