BRIEF: Taj Gibson will play vs. Cavaliers

Jan. 24--Taj Gibson will play Saturday against the Cavaliers but has to wear goggles and a protective contact lens over the left corneal abrasion he suffered against the Celtics on Friday.

Coach Fred Hoiberg said Gibson would be re-evaluated on Sunday, a scheduled day off for the Bulls.

The Bulls are playing the Cavaliers the day after Tyronn Lue replaced the fired David Blatt as coach. Lue said the Eastern Conference-leading Cavaliers have lost their spirit and need to get back to playing with fun again.

The Bulls have lost six of eight and have defeated the Cavaliers in the only meeting this season, the opener.
