BRIEF: SXSW comedy special hosted by W. Kamau Bell airing Friday

Oct. 02--The second part of a SXSW comedy special hosted by former Chicagoan W. Kamau Bell will premiere Friday on Showtime.

The show, which airs at 10 p.m., features stand-up from Rachel Feinstein, Wyatt Cenac, Joe DeRosa, Jon Huck and Todd Glass. The first installment, which aired in July, included sets from former Chicagoans Matt Braunger, an alumnus of "MADtv" and "Up All Night," and Beth Stelling, who has appeared on "@midnight."

SXSW took place in Austin in March. Bell, who grew up in Hyde Park, will explore various communities in CNN's "United Shades of America," set for 2016.

He is slated to appear at the Museum of Contemporary of Art on Nov. 15.
