BRIEF: Sweet dreams for Eurythmics' Dave Stewart in Toluca Lake

March 11--TV producer Mark Brazill has sold his Toluca Lake home to musician David A. Stewart of Eurythmics fame for $5.55 million.

The Spanish-style house was built in 1927 by Toluca Lake pioneer and designer William Klump and sits on more than a half-acre. Recently restored and updated, the walled house has a hip interior vibe and such details as gothic arches doorways.

Some 4,800 square feet of interior space features living, family and dining rooms, a breakfast room, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Brazill, 52, co-created, wrote and produced "That '70s Show." His credits include "Lab Rats," "That '80s Show" and "Third Rock From the Sun."

Singer-songwriter-guitarist-producer Stewart, 62, has also worked with the Tourists, Shakespears Sister and Stevie Nicks.

Among Eurythmics hits were the song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" And "Love Is a Stranger." Stewart's most recent album, "Lucky Numbers," came out two years ago.

The property previously changed hands in 2006 for $4.5 million.

Craig Strong of John Aaroe Group handled the transaction.
