April 05--A suspect was arrested less than a hour after a TCF Bank branch in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning, according to the FBI.
A man entered the bank at 3333 W. 26th St. around 10:50 a.m. and showed a gun, the FBI said in a statement. He left with cash, got into a car and fled.
Police pursued the suspect on the Stevenson Expressway north from Kedzie Avenue to Ashland Avenue, according to the Illinois State Police. After a crash, the suspect was arrested around 11:40 a.m. at 32nd Street and Ashland, authorities said.
The case is being investigated by the FBI.
