BRIEF: Sunday's recap: Rangers 6, Cubs 4

March 09--The summary

Despite limiting the Rangers to six hits Sunday, the Cubs fell behind early and never led, losing 6-4 to fall to 0-4-1 in the spring.

At the plate

Chris Valaika had an RBI single but was easily thrown out trying to stretch it into a double. Albert Almora had an RBI single.

On the mound

Jake Arrieta gave up a solo home run in two innings, allowing one hit and three walks. Eric Jokisch allowed four runs in two innings, including a monster home run by the Rangers' Joey Gallo.

In the field

Addison Russell continued to turn heads with his quick hands at shortstop, while Christian Villanueva made a diving grab of a liner at third.
