Dec. 13--A Summit man has been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault after having sex with a 14-year-old girl and impregnating her, prosecutors said Saturday.
Carlos Calixtro, 30, forced the girl to have sex with him at his home, prosecutors said Saturday in bond court. The girl was under 13 years old when the assaults began, according to court documents. Prosecutors said Calixtro regularly had sex with the girl when her mother wasn't there with her.
The girl became pregnant in March and gave birth in October, prosecutors said. Calixtro insisted his name be on the child's birth certificate, prosecutors said.
Calixtro, of the 7300 block of West Archer Avenue, was ordered held in lieu of $25,000 bail. His next court date is Tuesday.
