Nov. 17--Steppenwolf Theatre Company has named Polly Hubbard as its new literary manager beginning Dec. 1.
Hubbard formerly worked as a literary agent with Abrams Artists Agency in New York and recently served as dramaturg on Philip Dawkin's "Charm" presented by Northlight Theatre at the Steppenwolf Garage. She has also done developmental work with Steppenwolf's First Look, Victory Gardens Ignition Festival and American Theatre Company.
Hubbard's upcoming projects include Jackalope Theatre's production of "Rolling" by Calamity West and developmental work with Sideshow Theatre Company.
