BRIEF: Stephen Curry passes LeBron James for NBA's top-selling jersey

June 30--Stephen Curry is an NBA champion and the league's most valuable player.

The Golden State Warriors star now also has the bestselling jersey.

Based on sales at NBA.com from April to June, Curry's No. 30 jersey was sold more than any other. It's the first time Curry has topped the quarterly list. And it makes sense -- Curry received his MVP award and helped the Warriors in their playoff run during that time period.

In reaching the sales pinnacle, Curry knocks off Cleveland's LeBron James, who had the top-selling jersey of the entire regular season for the sixth time in his career. It just so happens that it was James' Cavaliers who lost to the Warriors in the NBA Finals earlier this month.

The top five was rounded out by Chicago's Derrick Rose, Cleveland's Kyrie Irving and Golden State's Klay Thompson.

Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, who had the No. 3 bestselling jersey during the regular season, dropped to No. 6. He hasn't played since suffering a torn rotator cuff in January.

Clippers stars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul came in at Nos. 8 and 10, respectively.
