BRIEF: Stephen Collins sells Brentwood home for above asking price

Dec. 22--Actor Stephen Collins and his estranged wife, Faye Grant, have sold one of their two Brentwood homes for $3 million.

The house had been priced at $2.7 million and sold in just under two months.

The one-story Traditional, built in 1959, includes a formal living room, a dining room, an office, three bedrooms and three bathrooms in about 2,600 square feet. An updated, center-island kitchen features a tile backsplash and farm sink.

The master suite, complete with a large walk-in closet and hardwood flooring, opens to a patio area with a lagoon-style pool.

The property was offered separately or packed with an adjoining property that Collins and Grant priced at $2.85 million.

Elyse Arbour and Mary Lu Tuthill of Rodeo Realty, Brentwood, were the listing agents. Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage represented the buyer in the sale.

Collins, 67, has come under fire in recent months following the release of an audio recording in which the actor purportedly admits to sexual misconduct. The "7th Heaven" star admitted to the abuse in a statement released last week.
