Oct. 15--It's too early to tell if the Cubs prediction came true but Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunited in a video posted Wednesday to review the prophecies in "Back to the Future II."
The time-travel movie, which was released in 1989 and guessed the events of 2015, correctly predicted 3D movies and fingerprint technology. Self-tying sneakers still haven't been invented though.
"Could you believe we thought fax machines would still be around?," Fox, who played Marty McFly, asked in the 43-second sneak peek of a video produced by Toyota.
"Yeah, I got a fax machine," replied Lloyd, who played Doc Brown.
"Who do you fax?," Fox asked.
"I fax the people I fax," Lloyd said.
The full reunion will be released on Toyota's website Wednesday, the day McFly travels to in the movie.
"Back to the Future II" predicted the Cubs would win the World Series. The Cubs beat the Cardinals this week to advance to the National League Championship Series. Game 1 of that series is Saturday. The winner of the series moves on to the World Series.
