March 21--MESA, Ariz. -- For the third time in as many springs, Starlin Castro is coping with a leg issue.
Castro was scratched from Saturday's lineup against Seattle because of a tight right groin. Castro is listed as day-to-day, and the injury is not believed to be serious. Castro felt discomfort during Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Castro missed most of last March because of a hamstring ailment, and he missed nearly two weeks in March of 2013 with a similar hamstring injury.
Addison Russell will start in place of Castro.
