May 04--Fox News contributor Stacey Dash has been tapped to make a cameo as Chicago's mayor in the upcoming fourth installment of the "Sharknado" franchise, Syfy network reps announced Wednesday.
Dash, who starred in the 1995 movie "Clueless" and its television spinoff, made an odd appearance at the Academy Awards in February after sparking controversy with her comments about Black History Month.
Joining Dash for cameos in "Sharknado: The 4th Awakens" are: Cynthia Bailey ("The Real Housewives of Atlanta"), Robert Herjavec ("Shark Tank"), Duane Chapman ("Dog the Bounty Hunter") and other reality stars.
Ian Ziering ("Beverly Hills, 90210") is set to reprise his role as Fin Shepard, who fights to protect his family from another shark infestation. "Sharknado: The 4th Awakens" is scheduled to premiere 7 p.m. July 31.
