BRIEF: Sports Illustrated likes Cubs to make World Series -- and lose

March 22--Sports Illustrated calls the Cubs a good bet to reach the World Series for the first time since 1945, but likes another team of young upstarts to win it all.

SI's top four locks to make playoffs -- the Cubs, Houston Astros, New York Mets and San Francisco Giants -- each get their own cover for the magazine's baseball preview issue. While SI likes the Cubs' chances to represent the National League in the championship series, it favors the Astros to take home the trophy.
