Dec. 21--A motorist was killed early Sunday when he lost control of his pickup truck, hit another vehicle and overturned on the 10 Freeway in Pomona, authorities said.
The 25-year-old unidentified driver was speeding when he sideswiped the other vehicle and lost control shortly after 1 a.m. on a connector road that linked the eastbound 10 Freeway with the 71 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the first vehicle was ejected and killed, authorities said. The driver of the second vehicle was unharmed.
