Oct. 12--Southwest Airlines said Monday that its technical systems were performing normally, a day after a glitch led to hundreds of flight delays nationwide.
In a statement, the airline said teams worked throughout the night to "ensure the smoothest operation of our originating and later flights."

Southwest said the technical issues affected about 500 of its 3,600 daily flights on Sunday.
The Dallas-based company had to rely on back-up systems to check in travelers without printed or mobile boarding passes.
Southwest had previously advised Monday passengers to print out their boarding passes before coming to the airport, but spokeswoman Michelle Agnew said travelers no longer needed to do that.
"It's never too early to say thank you and to extend our apologies," the airline said in a statement.
