BRIEF: South suburban woman stabbed in Roseland dies of injuries

Feb. 03--A 27-year-old south suburban woman who was found unresponsive with a stab wound Saturday in a vehicle on the Far South Side died Monday night, officials said.

Cierra Moore, of the 3400 block of Hazel Lane in East Hazel Crest, was pronounced dead at 11:33 p.m. Monday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Moore had been found about 2:35 p.m. Saturday inside the vehicle in the 10000 block of Michigan Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood. She had suffered a stab wound to her lower abdomen, according to Chicago Police Department spokesman Thomas Sweeney, and had been transported to Advocate Christ hospital in critical condition.

No other information was immediately available.
