BRIEF: 4 people displaced after fire in church spreads to home on South Side

Feb. 15--Four people were displaced after a fire broke out in a church and spread to the building next door in the Fuller Park neighborhood early Monday.

The fire started at about 4:45 a.m. in the back of a wood-frame church in the 5100 block of South Princeton Avenue. The fire spread to a residence next door, fire officials said.

The fire at the 2 1/2 -story residence got into the attic space, and four adults had to be relocated. No injuries were reported, officials said.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
