April 25--Shots were fired at a vehicle on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Monday but no injuries were reported, Illinois State Police said.
The shooting occurred at about 1:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the expressway near Garfield Boulevard. Two people were in the vehicle during the gunfire, but neither one was struck, state police said.
No one was in custody, and no description of the shooter's car was available.
