BRIEF: Shirt tuckers are winners at work and life, survey says

Sept. 23--Here's the key to happiness: Tuck in your shirt at work.

A recent survey of 1,000 men ages 25-60 found that 60 percent of shirt tuckers are happier on the job. They're also 22 percent more likely to be optimistic about their future and they earn 19 percent more money than the slouchy non-tuckers.

They also have more dates, the survey found.

The survey by underwear brand Fruit of the Loom asked participants about the quality of their lives in relation to happiness, optimism, social status, income and relationships. The survey found that in each of these, men who tuck in came out on top of those who don't.

That means that with only 49 percent of all guys tucking at least three days a week, there's a lot of work to be done. The survey also found that tuckers are 10 percent more likely to report being socially outgoing and 8 percent more likely to report they date often.
