BRIEF: Sheriff's detectives investigate shooting death in South L.A.

May 07--Sheriff's homicide detectives were investigating the fatal shooting of a man Friday near West 91st Street and South Vermont Avenue in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County.

No arrests had been made in the shooting, which occurred about 3:20 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Department. No other details were available.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
