Jan. 15--A 19-year-old south suburban man is accused of having hundreds of photos and videos of child pornography, officials announced Thursday.
In September, a federal search warrant was executed at the home of Kaillif Ammen, of Burbank, after investigators learned that Ammen had shared more than a 1,000 photos and approximately 200 videos of child pornography with a person in Texas, according to a statement according to a Cook County Sheriff's Office statement.
The person turned out to be an undercover FBI agent, the sheriff's office said.
A judge at the Bridgeview courthouse set bail at $300,000 on Wednesday for Ammen, who was taken into custody Tuesday at his home and charged with possession and dissemination of child pornography, according to the sheriff's office.
