BRIEF: Shattered Globe will perform 'The Grown-Up'

Jan. 15--Shattered Globe Theatre announced the final show of its 2014-15 season Thursday. It's "The Grown-Up" by Jordan Harrison.

This is only the second production of Harrison's light drama, which premiered last spring in the Humana Festival of New American Plays at the Actors Theatre of Louisville. In the play, a child discovers a magical doorknob that allows him to jump many years ahead in life.

Krissy Vanderwarker will direct the production at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave.

"The Grown-Up" begins performances on April 9 and continues through May 23. Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 2.
