BRIEF: 'Shark Tank' holding casting call June 13 in Chicago

June 03--Chicago entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas can audition June 13 to compete on "Shark Tank."

The casting call is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Studio XFinity, 901 W. Weed St. Numbered wristbands will be distributed from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Interviews are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Casting producers for the ABC series are looking for applicants who can "wow and dazzle," according to a press release. Participants will have one minute to make their pitch before meeting with a casting representative.

Previous Chicagoland competitiors pitched ideas including LuminAid, Packback, and Dude Wipes. The seventh season finale of "Shark Tank" aired last month.
