July 08--Actress Shannen Doherty of "Beverly Hills, 90210" fame has sold her house in Malibu for $2.495 million.
The ocean-view single-story home, built in 1977, features a large living room with distressed wood ceilings, a wet bar and a fireplace.
The kitchen's breakfast area opens to a family room with a fireplace. There's also a formal dining room.
The master suite has high ceilings and three closets for a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms within the 3,600 square feet of living space.
Sliding glass doors open to a wood deck and a heated lagoon-style swimming pool and spa. The 10,087-square-foot grounds include multiple seating and garden areas.
Doherty, 44, gained notice in the 1990s as Brenda Walsh on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and reprised the role in "90210" (2008-09). She starred in "Charmed" (1998-2001) and is in the current series "Off the Map."
She bought the wood-clad house in 2003 for an undisclosed amount.
Chris Cortazzo and Tara Switzer of Coldwell Banker were the listing agents. Cortazzo, Switzer and Bruce Mibach, also with Coldwell Banker, represented the buyers.
