Jan. 10--Los Angeles police Friday evening closed several downtown blocks because of a suspicious vehicle.
The bomb squad is responding to a car at South Los Angeles Street and East 2nd Street, police said. At least two blocks are shut down in every direction.
Police found a stolen car about 6 p.m. As officers approached the car, they determined that something about it was suspicious.
