Storylines: Sox pitchers posted a 2.78 ERA through the first 32 games but had a 5.26 ERA on a six-game trip against the Rangers and Yankees. The Sox went a club-record 12 straight games without an error from May 1 to 14. Astros second baseman Jose Altuve leads the majors with 3.2 WAR, according to Baseball Reference, while Sox right fielder Adam Eaton was second with 2.9 through Sunday. The Sox have two others in the top 10: Sale (2.6) and Jose Quintana (2.3).
