May 09--"Glee" star Jane Lynch, who began her career at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, will bring her live cabaret show "See Jane Sing" to the Lyric Opera this summer.
Accompanied by a five-piece band, the show sees Lynch mixing quick wit with pop-culture hits, Broadway standbys and songs that made her cry as a kid, taking on songs like "Far From the Home I Love" from "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Anaconda" from Nick Minaj's "The Pinkprint." Joining Lynch for the performance will be Kate Flannery of "The Office" and Tim Davis, the former vocal arranger of "Glee."
"See Jane Sing" plays June 17 and 18 at the Lyric Opera, 20 N. Wacker Drive.
