BRIEF: Second Trevor Noah show added at the Chicago Theatre

Feb. 10--Trevor Noah has added a second one-night-only performance in Chicago this spring, it was announced Wednesday.

The "Daily Show" host, originally slated to appear at the Chicago Theatre on March 26 at 7 p.m., will now perform an additional show at 10 p.m.

Noah, one of South Africa's most popular comedians and current host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, recently premiered his comedy special "Trevor Noah: Lost in Translation."

Tickets for the second performance go on sale Feb. 12 at 12 p.m. and are available at thechicagotheatre.com and 800-745-3000. Tickets for the ersatz one-night-only show are on sale now. The Chicago Theatre is located at 175 N. State St.

The additional performance from Noah follows the trend set by MSG Entertainment, which has announced added shows from John Oliver and Carol Burnett after single-show announcements.
