Nov. 10--Jessica Jones' hard-drinking, tough-as-nails attitude is on display in the latest trailer for the self-titled Marvel Netflix series starring Krysten Ritter as an ex-superhero-turned-private-eye who retired after an emotionally-scarring battle with a villain named Killgrave, a.k.a. the Purple Man, a.k.a. David Tennant.
That battle continues in the newest trailer, with Killgrave showing that despite Jones' dominance physically, he often, with his twisted personality and ability to mentally control others, gets the upper hand.
"A couple of words, you're his weapon," says a character that looks to be Trish Walker, friend of Jones' and onetime superhero Hellcat, played by Rachael Taylor. This is said as she holds a gun, most likely unwillingly, below her chin.

Mike Colter, who plays superhero Luke Cage, also makes several appearances as a bartender. Drinking with two secret superheroes? What bar is this and do they have cider? Or just the hard stuff?
"Jessica Jones" will arrive on Netflix with all episodes Nov. 20.
