BRIEF: Sean Kory beat man dressed as Fox News reporter for Halloween, police say

Nov. 03--A Santa Cruz man with a strong distaste for Fox News made his sentiments known by taking his aggression out on a Halloween reveler dressed as reporter for the network, police said.

Sean Kory, 29, was arrested Friday on suspicion of attacking a man dressed as a Fox News reporter for Halloween because Kory "hates Fox News," according to the Santa Cruz Police Department.

Police said Kory proclaimed he "hates Fox News," grabbed the reporter impersonator's microphone and attacked him with an aluminum tennis racket.

Kory ran away from officers as they approached, but was eventually caught and taken into custody, authorities said.

The man dressed as a Fox News reporter was not injured, police said.

Kory, whose mug shot has garnered some fans online, later took to Twitter, saying he dressed up as Serena Williams and threw his racket on the ground.
