Feb. 02--Scott Darling may not have been an NHL All-Star, but the weekend was a win for him anyway. The Blackhawks goalie, who has a Stanley Cup ring, surprised his girlfriend, Martha Buckley, with a ring of her own (spoiler: she said yes).
As for how other Blackhawks spent their break, a few decided to keep cool in snowy locales. Andrew Shaw and his girlfriend hit the slopes, while Artemi Panarin went dog sledding.
Indoors, Artem Anisimov spent some quality time reading books with his daughter, Adriana.
The Blackhawks are back on the ice against the Avalanche Tuesday night in Colordao. They'll be without Jonathan Toews as he serves a one-game suspension for missing the All-Star Game.
