BRIEF: 'Schoolhouse Rock Live!' to make the jump to Broadway Playhouse

April 13--Emerald City Theatre and Broadway in Chicago have announced that "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" will play at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place July 8-Aug. 28.

Based on the animated TV series, "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" follows a schoolteacher as he makes a rock 'n' roll lesson plan with tunes like "Just a Bill" and "Conjunction Junction." The production is directed by Morgan Madison.

"Schoolhouse Rock Live!" is currently playing at the Apollo Theater, 2540 N. Lincoln Ave., through June 5.
