March 27--Billy Hamilton's two-run, ground-rule double off reliever Matt Albers in the fifth inning lifted the Reds to a 9-7 victory over the White Sox on Saturday at Camelback Ranch. Carlos Rodon was saddled with all nine runs after pitching 4 1/3 innings in the first game of a split-squad doubleheader with the Sox facing the Dodgers in the nightcap.
At the plate: Adam Eaton's two-run single highlighted a six-run fourth inning for the Sox against Brandon Finnegan.
On the mound: Albers, Zach Duke and David Robertson all kept their scoreless streaks intact against the Reds. None has given up an earned run this spring.

The quote: "Probably the first time all spring he was pretty erratic. ... This is the first one where it's really a stinker, where he goes out there and pitches like that. He still has great stuff and is a competitor and all that. It just wasn't a good day for him." -- Sox manager Robin Ventura on Rodon
Up next: At Giants, 3:05 p.m. Sunday. RH Mat Latos vs. RH Jake Peavy.
