BRIEF: Saturday's matchup: Northwestern at Iowa

Nov. 01--TV/radio: 11 a.m. Saturday; BTN, WGN AM-720, WGWG-FM 87.7.

Line: Iowa by 4.

Records: Northwestern 3-4, 2-2 Big Ten; Iowa 5-2, 2-1.

Last meeting: Iowa won 17-10 in overtime on Oct. 26, 2013, in Iowa City.

On the offensive: Iowa's rushing attack has been curiously disappointing (3.8 yards per carry), but Jake Rudock has helped compensate by completing 64.8 percent of his passes with just three interceptions.

Getting defensive: Iowa is terrific against the pass, with eight players recording an interception. Veteran safety Ibraheim Campbell returns to a Northwestern defense that got trounced by Nebraska in the second half.

The number: 10. Iowa has converted the most fourth-down plays (10 of 14) in the Big Ten. Northwestern is 7 of 15.

The talk: What does familiarity breed? These teams have met each of the last nine seasons, with Northwestern winning six.

Teddy Greenstein's pick: Northwestern will feel at home again in Kinnick Stadium.

Northwestern 24, Iowa 20
