BRIEF: Sacramento Kings suspend DeMarcus Cousins one game

March 11--The Sacramento Kings have suspended center DeMarcus Cousins for one game for "conduct detrimental of the team."

Kings Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Vlade Divac announced the suspension on Thursday. Cousins will serve the suspension in the team's next game against the Orlando Magic on Friday.

The Kings gave no additional information on Cousins' suspension, but Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears reported that the suspension came after an incident related to Wednesday's loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Video has surfaced online of the incident.

The video shows Cousins growing visibly angry toward head coach George Karl during a timeout.

The Vertical's Chris Mannix tweeted that Cousins continued to vent at George after the game and involved Divac too.

Sacramento is 25-38 entering Friday. Cousins leads the team with averages of 27.4 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
