Feb. 11--Ryan Kwanten is scheduled to film the indie romantic comedy "Who Gets the Dog?" Friday at the Allstate Arena and you're invited. You just need to buy a ticket to the American Hockey League game between the Chicago Wolves and Oklahoma City Barons.
Kwanten plays an aspiring Wolves goalie in "Who Gets the Dog?" and is expected to shoot the Allstate Arena scene during intermission.
The Australian actor best known for his role as Jason Stackhouse on HBO's "True Blood" already filmed scenes with Wolves players Monday and Tuesday at the team's practice rink at Triphahn Center Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates. On Jan. 31, Kwanten attended the Wolves-Rockford IceHogs game at the Allstate Arena.
"Who Gets the Dog?" co-stars Alicia Silverstone ("Clueless") and revolves around two exes (Kwanten and Silverstone) battling over custody of their dog. The three-week shoot in Chicago began Feb. 2.
