BRIEF: Russell Wilson: I won't allow one play to define my career

Feb. 02--Russell Wilson has probably had better days.

After all, he's less than 24 hours removed from throwing the late-game interception that turned what appeared to be a sure Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl victory into a devastating 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots.

But Wilson isn't hanging his head. Instead, the quarterback has tweeted out several uplifting messages that are rooted in his faith and have a positive outlook.

"At 26 years old I won't allow 1 play or 1 moment define my career," Wilson tweeted Monday morning. "I will keep evolving."

He followed that message with the hashtag, "#Motivation."

Earlier in the morning, Wilson tweeted, "Every setback has a major comeback," followed by the hashtag, "#GreaterIsComing."

About an hour before that, he sent out a Biblical quote: "I will love You, O LORD, my strength. (Psalms 18:1 NKJV)"

Soon after the heartbreaking loss Sunday night, Wilson thanked God as well as the Seahawks' fans: "Thank You God for the opportunity. We'll be back... I will never waiver on who He has called me to be ... Thanks 12s #GoHawks"
