Oct. 15--The Napa estate of the late actor Robin Williams has been reduced in price to $22.9 million -- a 23% reduction from early last year when it was listed at $29.9 million.
Called Villa Sorriso for "villa of smiles," the 640-acre spread centers on a limestone-covered mansion with a two-story entry, a bell tower, a billiards room, an oak-paneled library, a 12-seat home theater, a family room, climate-controlled art and wine rooms and an elevator.
There are five bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and nearly 20,000 square feet of living space. A caretaker's house has another four bedrooms.
The mansion grounds include a 65-foot-long infinity-edge swimming pool, a tennis court, lawns and gardens.
The property has more than 18 acres of vineyards, hiking and horse riding trails, ranch facilities, a nine-stall horse barn, more than 100 olive trees and a spring-fed pond.
Williams, who died last year at 63, gained a television following on the sitcom "Mork Mindy" (1978-82). His film work included "Good Morning, Vietnam" (1987), "Dead Poets Society" (1989) and "Good Will Hunting" (1997), for which he won an Oscar.
