BRIEF: Road trip to St. Louis: The cost of a day at Busch Stadium

Oct. 08--No Wrigley Field playoff tickets? Thinking of a road trip to St. Louis to catch the Cubs there instead? We broke down the costs for Cubs die-hards who make the trek to Busch Stadium to see their team in the playoffs.

GAME DAY AT BUSCH STADIUM

Hotel room: $150 per night (on average).

Public transit: $2.50 per ride, $4 from airport to downtown or $6.50 round trip airport to downtown.

Ticket to the game: Start at $4 each during regular season, but this is the playoffs. Standing-room-only tickets were advertised for about $100 or more on ticket brokerage sites Thursday for Friday's game.

Hot dog: $4.75.

Soda: 20-ounce bottle, $5.75.

Beer: Varies depending on type, $5-$9.

Bud Light Limerita: $6.50.

T-shirt: $35.

Hat: $24.

Nachos: $7.

Peanuts: $4.75.
