March 28--River Forest's Addison Osta Smith, Season 4 winner of "MasterChef Junior," has already made the move from cooking to acting.
Addison, 10, recently wrapped filming on the ABC pilot "Dream Team," her rep said Monday. The half-hour comedy follows a divorced sporting goods store manager (played by Justin Long), who is building a soccer dream team, according to Deadline.
Addison plays Miley, a recruit.
The fourth season finale of "MasterChef Junior" aired in January. Addison was the youngest and first female winner of the Fox cooking competition. She appeared on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" after her win.
Addison told the Tribune that her dream is to have her own television show.
