BRIEF: Riot Fest lineup adds Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie

May 18--Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie and Social Distortion will top the Riot Fest lineup alongside the previously announced reunion of the Glenn Danzig-led Misfits.

The festival, which returns Sept. 16-18 to Douglas Park, rolled out part of its lineup Wednesday, including several special performances. These include:

--Social Distortion performing its 1996 album "White Light, White Heat, White Trash."

--Rob Zombie performing "Astro Creep 2000," the 1995 album by his former group White Zombie.

--Jane's Addiction performing its 1990 album "Ritual De Lo Habitual."

Additionally, several reunited bands are slated: Thursday, Set Your Goals and the Anniversary.

Also performing will be Bob Mould, Brand New, NAS, Deftones, the Specials, Refused, Death Grips, the Hives and the Descendents. Additional bands will be announced later.

Tickets ($169.98 for a three-day pass) are on sale at riotfest.org.
