BRIEF: Riot Fest Chicago offers two-day passes for limited time

Sept. 06--Riot Fest Chicago is offering special two-day passes to the three-day music festival via discount website Groupon. The $149.98 tickets can be bought in any two-day combination for the Sept. 11-13 event, and the deal expires at midnight Sunday. That's a discount from the $189.98 three-day passes still available via the Riot Fest website and the ticket seller Ticketfly. The Riot Fest website no longer lists single-day tickets as an option, but on Sunday morning they appeared to be still available via the Ticketfly website for $74.98 each. In July the festival briefly offered single-day tickets via Groupon for $69.98 each. The festival relocated this year to Douglas Park, on the West Side, after it lost the support of the alderman in its most recent home, Humboldt Park. A lawsuit filed late last week by St. Anthony Hospital, located on the southern border of Douglas Park, seeks to stop the festival from occurring.
